Ms. Hamel serves as InVivo’s Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. She leads legal, intellectual property and business development functions, in addition to managing investor relations activities, after holding roles of increasing responsibility since joining the company in 2014. Prior to InVivo, Ms. Hamel worked at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner, P.A., and at Ecolab, Inc., where she worked on a variety of legal and intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, intellectual property litigation and patent and trademark licensing activities. Prior to Ecolab, Ms. Hamel worked as a biomaterials research associate at the University of Wisconsin. Ms. Hamel holds a B.S. in chemistry and a B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin, a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and a Master of Liberal Arts Degree in General Management from Harvard University.
