Several delegates from the Russian Parliament visited InVivo Therapeutics Corporation last month on Monday January 25, 2010. Among the representatives from the Russian government were Igor Shuvalov, First Deputy Primate Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Sobyanin, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Government Staff, Arkady Dvorkovich, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, and Elvire Nabiullina, Minister of Economic Development and Trade. The visitors had the chance to speak to InVivo Therapeutics President and CEO Frank Reynolds about InVivo’s technology and view a presentation about the company’s research.

InVivo Therapeutics Corporation has filed an Investigational Device Exemption application with the Food and Drug Administration requesting permission to advance to human clinical studies. InVivo is currently conducting its third primate study and expects to receive approval to begin a human study in 2010.
